History, in the narrow sense, can be regarded as chronological data regarding our past in detail - or in fragments, according to the evidence available. Or in a broad sense, it can be a fascinating glimpse into human life over the centuries - with its achievements in the technological, social, political, military, economic and other spheres. History is written mostly by those who attain positions of power in a society, so obviously there could be another side to the narrative. In these podcasts, we will look at snippets from history which need to be told or retold, not in chronological order - but a look at empires, kingdoms, legends, notable historical figures who have left rich legacies for us to cherish or those who have done abominable acts from which we can learn valuable lessons. There are many facets to history and we try to explore some of them.
